If rallies won elections, Prime Minister Salmond and Prime Minister Farage would be conducting fascinating talks about EngExist just now. While Corbyn would be on course to leading his party to a huge majority, including receiving virtually 90% of the vote in Cities of London and Westminster.

You're citing Glenn Greenwald as an authority? Goodness.

I think we're looking at the get out clause. Trump would have won if the media hadn't reported what he'd said. OK, I'll admit I've added my own spin there!

I think we're looking at thr get out clause. Trump would have won if the media hadn't reported what he'd said. OK, I'll admit I've added my own spin there! All of the major media in the US have been reporting Donald Trump's words. All of them, like all media outlets anywhere in the world, have political biases and these will inevitably effect their coverage. Some major media outlets in the US have are oriented to the right, principally Fox News, Breitbart, the Washington Times and a number of Talk radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. The majority of major media outlets in America are oriented to the left, particularly the kind of centre left liberalism generally favoured by the big corporations in the US. This is unsurprising as these are the same corporations that dominate media ownership. These media outlets include CNN, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, the Washington Post, the New York Times, the Huffington Post etc. This bias is influencing their coverage in a way that has been becoming increasingly partisan and obvious. Some people seem to object when these facts are pointed out. I refer the gentleman to the point I made earlier - across nearly all those outlets, Clinton has had far more negative coverage than Trump. That is a fact; whereas your opinion, or that of Glenn Greenwald, Breitbart, Dailycaller, or any other RWNJ site, is not a fact.

Trump is now claiming he was being sarcastic when he claimed Obama was the founder of ISIS. I expect our colleague will again claim that he was doing it to get publicity. Not all publicity is good publicity. Remember Dukakis and the tank.

Not all publicity is good publicity. Remember Dukakis and the tank. As it was 28 years ago, probably not everyone here does remember Dukakis and the tank.

"The fact is, Donald Trump is nothing more than a spoiled, unpatriotic drain on society who has earned nothing and helped no one." - Harry Reid.

I thought the Drudge Report was supposed to have a rabidly right-wing bias. Why are they comparing Clinton to the most successful European politician of this century?
