It appears they have forgotten the word "elected"- or did they decide both candidates were rubbish and nobody was elected? ;) At the bottom it does say "And I do hereby declare that Paul Martin Victor Gorringe is duly elected" so I think that covers that little oversight

Absolutely. I don't think 16 out of 16 for one party is particularly healthy and I would willingly trade that for a system of proportional representation. Was a time many years ago( last century!) when I used to attend regular meetings at the Sevenoaks TC offices and even then the Lib Dems were strongly represented, but never 16 /16. Interesting place - a wooden hut in a car park, but equipped with all the bits and pieces salvaged from, I presume, the old town hall.

South Oxfordshire, Didcot, Park. Green 192, LD 188, Con 182, Lab 140. Green gain from Con. . These sort of results are always good fun, whoever wins, but it would have been more fun if Labour could have taken another 30 votes (taking them equally from the Lib Dems and Greens)

There appears to have been an issue with the postal votes for the Carmarthenshire byelections on Thursday:

40% turnout at the full election in 2022.
EDIT: funnily enough I actually saw the gwlad candidate's tweet last night claiming he'd secured 30% of the vote. Gwlad I waited to see the actual numbers.

Bloody hell! Probably what didn't help there was no mainstream party candidate, the nice weather and lack of interest.
