Ah yes, saw that typically Stoke-ish tale in Phil BC's blog  I think it isn't unfair to say (based on that account at least) he was never a genuine Corbyn supporter. |

I think that, in addition to his core left-wing constituency, Jez did attract a rag-tag of malcontents and protest voters who didn't necessarily share his ideology (rather like UKIP in that respect). Well, given he got 60% of the vote it was far more than that - is your constituency unique in not having any Corbyn voters? And if your ideology is reflected by Kendalls derisory vote you really are in trouble. |
