As you know I shy away from those who claim that mark senior is the UK's worst political analyst.
Now I'm going to have to shy away from those who are claiming that mark senior is the UK's worst political analyst even when he's already got the result in front of him
Ah , this boards prize dickhead rears his barely visible member .

Could AdminSTB create a separate private sub-forum for some of the posters here and some of the posters on the West Aberdeenshire thread so they have somewhere they can go and slag each other off to their heart's content without the rest of us having to wade through this fucking tedious playground drivel

I am amazed at the penetration achieved by UKIP there. It nearly half ofthe Labour and of the PC vote straight off.

UKIP seems to be finding Wales quite congenial right now (certainly, the contrast with Scotland is clear)
It was the one "region" where they genuinely surprised me with their performance in the Euros last year.

Ah , this boards prize dickhead rears his barely visible member . Are you going to announce your presence in this way regularly in future, or was this a one-off attention-seeking measure desperately hiding the fact that as usual you have nothing of interest to say? Or were you simply sharing the fact that you were engaged in a little onanism?

Both Mark and I reacted to the flash result on Britain Elects which said it was a Plaid Cymru gain. This disappeared shortly afterwards and it was then reported this result was actually for the Cummunity Council by-election which was counted ahead of the County election. Not good enough. Fortunately in the United Kingdom run by cefin and Nigel Farage, people like you will be shot at dawn (if not before).

I don't know the reason but I guess that a reasonably prominent local chap together with the propensity for UKIP to mop up the "fuck 'em all" vote previously going to "People First" is at the root.

Surprisingly good UKIP result - anyone any clue why? I note that the area is significantly less Welsh-speaking than the average in Carmarthenshire ( 2001 37.9% v 63.6%).

UKIP are clearly mopping up the NOTA vote. In this particular case this had previously been taken by Llanelli First, and it seems fair to assume that in areas where there is a strong anti-politics party then UKIP will do well. Still can't see it turning into many seats for them though...
