That's a great result for us in Harlow - are there any circumstances around the UKIP councillor's resignation that may have depressed their vote? Also amusing (though hardly unusual nowadays) to see the LibDems polling 47 votes in a ward where they used to hold all three seats! Andrew Teale's preview just refers to ill health as the cause of the resignation.

Conservatives also held the Cabin Lane ward on Oswestry Town Council: Con 194 (40.8%), Green 101 (21.2%), No Description 63 (13.2%), Liberal Democrat 45 (9.5%), Independent 37 (7.8%) and No Description 36 (7.6%).
