Didn't Kenneth Baker present a programme on political cartoons a few years ago? He most certainly did. In 2005 Baker published a book on King George IV, George IV: A Life in Caricature, followed by: King George III: A Life in Caricature in 2007. Other publications include several compilations of poetry, a history of political cartoons and his autobiography. The TV documentary I think revolved mainly around King George's era caricatures as illustrated in his books. The following related review is well worth reading: www.bjr.org.uk/data/2007/no4_bakerHe discusses lampooning from Walpole to Major, and especially Maggie.
