The BBC could improve their coverage immeasurably flying Antony Green in from Oz He made an appearance on the AV referendum programme, probably because that's the system used in Australia. As I've said, what needs to be done is for them to put a psephologist in a co-presenter role along the lines of that which Butler used to have.

The BBC could improve their coverage immeasurably flying Antony Green in from Oz During General Elections they wouldn’t have to, the ABC often send him anyway - I think he missed 2019 as it clashed with a State election in Aus.

And on ITV ITV in England and NI. Nothing
ITV Wales Thursday2245-2315 - Wales Decides Friday1355-1700 - Wales Decides 2100-2200 - Wales Decides STV (Scotland) Friday1600-1900 - STV Election Special
2000-2030 - STV Election Special Saturday 1640-1830 - STV Election Special

Surprisingly little coverage from STV to be honest. Independent from the ITV Group, but less coverage overall and less in prime time than ITV Wales.

Report on the Kensington byelection of 1988 Ann Holmes never did get a safe seat - she was really impressive, a good example of how very talented people lose out

I wish they would return to showing the actual results instead of endlessly talking about stuff.

I honestly think that Sky forgot how to run election night coverages as both 2021 local and 2019 national were really bad….

In 2019 they would have had lots of statistical stuff, maps aso. - but they didn't make us of it! First, because they had to deliver the exSpeaker the show he had paid for; and then they were fully absorbed by broadcasting as many declarations as possible.

Yes, but declarations alone without any ExitPoll-/statistics-stuff would also be insufficient and boring.

My problem with their 2019 coverage was: 1.Felt like a long and shallow Berkow interview. 2.Broadcasted alot of Wirral South & Battersea Type constituencies instead of places like the black country. 3.Did not show the results of constituencies they did not broadcast.
