We would like to put out a nationwide appeal for help in order that we can get across to recent former Lib Dem Mayor of Swansea Richard Lewis that we really don't want him ( and in fact wont have him) in UKIP's ranks.
Following his earlier rebuttal as detailed elsewhere on this forum he's back in touch again and this time promising to bring on board a load of local Lib Dems. We've told him no chance, once again, but are concerned that this understated subtle rejection method does not appear to be getting through.
I wonder if the Lib Dems with their bucket loads of taxpayer funded staff and long term expertise of the political world might have anyone who would be able to advise us on how to get through to their councillor that he is not welcome in UKIP? That Mark Senior guy always seems to have a handle on political developments, analysis and solutions.
We've even tried politely asking fellow Swansea Lib Dem Councillor and Welsh AM Peter Black through his website if he might be able to help us but no response there I'm afraid
Mr Lewis just doesn't appear to be able to take a big fat no in the good natured spirit that it is intended.
Our first thought is to now release his communications to the media but would welcome any other suitable suggestions on how to deal with a serial failed defector who won't give up.
Perhaps one of you other parties might wish to solve the problem by snapping him up as he seems up for grabs and apparently comes with his own little band of Lib Dems as a kind of ....Buy one get one free offer?
Yes he has admitted it himself . He calls them "Bunkhouses"
Well his father was jailed back in the early 80s for rather dubious practices as a hypnotherapist. Not that the sins of the father ought to be visited upon the son, but there is a bit of a narrative here isn't there?
Curious fires in disused Methodist chapels in Hull and so on.
I'm sure that you mean to refer to his stepfather Armchair? Rather than the innocent chap that you've just announced to the world as having been jailed for dubious practices.
Neither of whoms past actions of course have anything to do with Nathan Gill.
Should have seen the place I was living in when an MOD apprentice, moved out to a worse place put half the price, now hat is this about dumping Ghananians in Tyre, dodgy. www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Tyrefirstname.lastname@example.org,35.203278,15z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x151e7d902f915d95:0xcf0e3fc6fb997408
Bunkhouses doesn't necessarily mean shanty houses, squats, tenements etc. It's actually a common term in some industries for staff accommodation. It may also be something that people say (for example, who says digs these days?).
I suspect that were he in a position to do so cefin would have told McKenzie to sling his hook.
I most certainly would have and quite frankly would still do, along with dodgepot Hamilton and one Densmore Dover they're all bad news that both we and the general public can well do without and I have in the past ( as I'm sure that Richard will testify to) pointed this out publicly and will continue to do so to senior UKIP officials at every opportunity as again I have already done in the past.
Those board members resident in Wales might also recall me being interviewed on TV as well as being quoted in other media sources saying that disgraced former tory Rod Richard's having joined UKIP just before MEP selection... would stand as an MEP over my dead body after he joined the selection process.... he was furious and complained to just about everyone in UKIP that he could contact.
If you scroll to the bottom you will see my quite candid comments on a fellow party member which I don't really think could be presented in any plainer English.
I'm struggling to remember any representative from any other parties doing the same on TV or elsewhere about any of their party members hoping for election despite the scores of opportunities given the poor character of so many of their own parties representative hopefuls..
I don't just point out dodgy lib, labs or cons of which there are plenty I point out the UKIP baddies as well. I can't be more honest or even handed than that can I?
I know that a little touch of honesty in politics will shock a few on here but maybe some would like to join with me in displaying some of their own in regards to their own party members and representatives? ( lib dems please do it in installments as I don't think this board has the bandwidth to take all the examples in one go )
Anyway.......since we're mentioning Richard Lewis.....here's the latest update...after being told yet again that he won't be rejoining he's now taken to ringing up senior members of the party and pleading to be allowed back in and still promising that he can bring a load of lib dems with him from the Swansea / Gower area ( are there actually a load of lib dems left?)
I'm just about to write to Kirsty Williams asking her to sort her crowd out in Wales, it's an embarrassing shambles, maybe she can get Lewis off our backs. I'll copy you all in on here to my Email.
ps.... don't tell Mark Senior, he gets annoyed at hearing inconvenient truths, probably a lib dem thing,
Nathan Gill , Hsmilton , Dover , Cefin et al , allowing Lewis to join UKIP and leave the Lib Dems would increase the average moral standards of both parties in one go .
I'm not entirely convinced of that one to be honest.
Anyway now we've established that i am quite happy to speak out in the media and condemn dodge pots from all parties including my own. maybe you might be able to provide a couple of links where Mr Mark Senior has spoken out in public or in the media in a similar fashion.
I'll start you off with a couple I've lifted off Guido's site and you can join in with some naughty lib dems that you've spoken out against in the press in a similar fashion that I have.
I expect that you joined in with a condemnation post or two on the article on the site at the time, maybe you could just point us all towards that in order to demonstrate your integrity in these matters.
Cyril Smith - “Overwhelming evidence” that Smith sexually abused young boys.
•Lord Rennard - Suspended by the Lib Dems after the long history of sexual harassment allegations against him was exposed.
•Mike Hancock - Self-confessed teen fondler. Accused of sexually assaulting a mentally ill constituent. Says he is too ill to face investigation.
•Chris Huhne - Liar, crook, criminal. Jailed for perverting the course of justice.
•LibDem council leader Derek Osbourne - jailed for ‘appalling’ child pornography offences. His computer contained images of ‘stomach churning’ child abuse, bestiality and severe violence against women.
•Welsh LibDem councillor John Larsen - guilty of bombing campaign in his constituency, jailed for causing an explosion likely to endanger life
•Worcester Park LibDem councillor Stephen Fenwick - convicted for racially aggravated assault in train station pub
•Yeovil Lib Dem councillor Peter Brock - convicted of stealing £1,231 from the Poppy Appeal charity
To be fair Richard Lewis is looking quite a catch amongst that lot, you should probably be putting up more of a fight to keep him!
Cefin , you are seriously mentally unfit to be a spokesperson for a political party , how long do your constituents have to wait before they can boot you out ?
Oh I see......it was quite OK when you were observed all over the internet including this forum making offensive remarks generalising about " all UKIP councillors" as I recall.
I think the words "mentally unfit" were one of your little catchphrases then as well.
Now it appears that you don't enjoy the cut and thrust of things quite so much when your hypocrisy is highlighted.
I'm not the spokesman for anyone except myself by the way. But I don't like bullies, especially cowardly hypocritical ones such as yourself who have been quite happy to run riot all over the internet making generalised offensive remarks about people of whom you have no knowledge of whilst unchallenged but yet don't appear to be able to cut the mustard when confronted.
It was also quite interesting reading the lib dem EU elections briefing PDF against UKIP before polling day, it seems from the language and terminology used in it that your own charming turns of expression against others whom you don't agree with seems to run deep and is fairly standardised within your party.
We all had a good laugh reading it however but not as much as we did after the results were announced I must confess.
Now anyway ....you were going to give us all a little synopsis of your views in regards to those illustrious lib dems listed above as I recall!
