It looks as though there are 6 local council by-elections in June together with the first 2 of the 5 elections deferred from 22nd May.
* 1 by-election on 5th June, a ward in Scotland last contested in 2012
* 3 by-elections on 12th June, all in district councils last contested in 2011
* 2 by-elections on 19th June, both in district councils with 1 last contested in 2011 and 1 where there was an annual election on 22nd May
* 2 deferred elections on 26th June,
- 1 in a 2 member district council ward last contested in 2011, the other in a 3 member London borough last contested in 2010
Conservatives are defending one by-election following a resignation and one deferred election
Labour is defending one deferred election where 3 seats are at stake
SNP is defending 1 by-election following the resignation of its previous councillor
Independents are defending 4 seats, 3 following a resignation and 1 a death
With Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats. UKIP and Greens all having 3 candidates in Barnet,
Conservatives are contesting all 8 elections, Labour 7, Liberal Democrats 3, UKIP 6, Green 2
- along with 1 SNP, 2 Lincolnshire Independent and 5 Independents including 2 in one seat, a total of 44 candidates including Barnet
Predictions on this thread by 9.00 am on the day of the election.
Note the precise rules for Barnet will be issued when the nominations are known
- it would be simplest if all parties contesting the ward had a full slate of candidates.
Update:
The Barnet contest should predict the average percentage of the 3 candidates standing for each of the 5 parties contesting the 3 seats.
