Seems a bit odd that voters in Kidsgrove are going to the polls for the second time in as many weeks. It's the consequence of the timing of the outgoing councillor's appeal being turned down. There isn't any discretion to choose when to call a byelection caused by disqualification. |

Just as a note, I understand the Labour candidate is Mick Rice formerly of Sparkhill and then Sparkbrook ward on Birmingham City Council. I wonder how his Spartish 'Tribune of the People' act goes down in Dunoon.
