10k? That'd be miles round here. You must be fit.
I relented and leafleted for a friend when I lived 'down South'. That experience wasn't much better but at least he treated me to a meal. I had to attend that count as his agent. Whole district count and very noisy so understandable when the Returning Officer lost his rag.

Not quite sure whether you are making a joke for miles vs kilometers. On the assumption you thought Ian meant 6.22 miles I believe Ian meant 10,000 leaflets. I am impressed.

It often feels like you've walked 10k after a busy weekend!

I am impressed. it is the number of leaflets but we have had three full deliveries, two targetted and a pre election one. The great thing is that it worked as everyone on the doorstep recognised our candidate and that is vital.

I did mean 10,000 leaflets & assuming one per house. (I'm hopeless with kms). Our metro area is quite rural so you'd cover some distance to deliver that many leaflets here. Good exercise!
I'm sure that we've received Tory & LibDem leaflets by post. The weather has been so bad that no one in their right mind would have ventured out. I feel for our local Lab candidate. She appears to be a one woman band and works full-time so no surprise only one leaflet from her.

An amazing result for us there in North Yorkshire, even if we didn't actually win

Sorry for the mix up.
Too many results. Election nights/days/further nights (if London elects a mayor...) are fun but at one point there are too many results flying around! :-)

I have posted a summary of the results for the 87 vacancies previously identified as being contested on Thursday under the "Forthcoming Elections" thread.
