No figures yet from Mansfield, West Bank but the order of parties is apparently Lab > Mansfield Ind > C > Grn > LD > TUSC. I'm surprised the Workers Party didn't stand in that ward.

This does not portend well for Ben Bradley. I suspect that Labour are going to lose precious few seats in the former coalfield in this election, even in comparison with the rest of the country. Obviously there will be some that elude the party, for example the seat that Williamson is contesting in Staffordshire has a coalfield minority. But not many this time.

GWBWI
Lab +167 LDm +58 Grn +15 Con -80
Stick a 2 in front of the Con 80, and that could be seat changes for the GE! (Well, not really, but here's hoping).

Reform will take chunks out of the Tories in the this seat and the old Dukeries coalfield. Labour will win everything in Nottinghamshire this time around.

Would still be impressed with Jenrick losing tbh.

I think he'll be the one Tory to cling on in Notts.

Not certain though. Even he may have trouble but I incline towards a Con Hold there

I think he'll be the one Tory to cling on in Notts. It's a stretch but I think Labour will get enough votes in Newark town and Reform will cannibalise enough Tory votes elsewhere for Labour to sneak it. "A new ark has broken, has it not?" The Tory - Reform switchers went in two by two, hurrah. Like in 2001, I expect normal service will resume at the following General Election.
