The Reform candidate has spent most of the last month on the piss in Germany.

Worth keeping an eye on this If you meant in the sense of "an above average Labour performance for this sort of seat in this election", then yeah.

Worth keeping an eye on this If you meant in the sense of "an above average Labour performance for this sort of seat in this election", then yeah. There was a buzz going around the count that it could be tight. I went and had a look at the table and it was bollocks and simply the opinions of the inexperienced observers. You will note I corrected that post shortly afterwards as a consequence of my own observations. Don't gloat, Bish, because it's all going to come back and bite you on the arse in due course.

I'm not gloating, honestly. Its just a bit strange that so many got taken in by such an obviously rubbish rumour.

Cooper is absolutely beatable here, but someone will have to put the graft in and squeeze the hell out of all other opposition parties.
Start by finding some capable council candidates and trying to overcome the dreadful apathy - turn outs in some of the wards in the east of Wakefield district were barely above 15%, in the locals.
