It was a dubious use of that provision, certainly not sort of thing it was intended for. The Lib Dem's in Sunderland do to same, as i understand it largely because it pisses off Labour, with perennial paper candidate "Nana Boddy" which is a reference to her being the grandmother of Lib Dem Cllr O'Brien. I expect no better from the yellow leppers.

What, pray tell, is a "lepper" meant to be? Someone who suffers from lepp-rosy?
Anyway, on the topic of descriptions of doctors on the ballot paper, I note that ex-MEP David Bull doesn't appear to have tried to repeat the trick of masquerading as a physician like he did on Newsround back in the 1990s, at least according to the SOPN for Suffolk West.
