I don't think it's too much of an issue here where the whole of the old seat is contained in the new one and in any case its a boringly safe Labour seat. David Gauke is much more culpable for not only messing up the result for SW Herts in 2019 but skewing the notional results of two new constituencies.

It was interesting how that turned out to be one of the best independent/new small party performances in 2019, especially without any other party withdrawing for him

The Wirral as a whole is one of stark contrasts.

Apparently Birkenhead Park is what the more famous Central Park in New York was inspired by/based on? I believe Birkenhead/Wirral has applied for UNESCO world heritage status for the park. It would be quite something if they got it, while Liverpool has lost its UNESCO status.
