I once went to a CLP raffle that included some commemorative china with all the Colne Valley Labour MP’s faces arranged in a circle. Including the (in?)famous Victor Grayson. As well as Patrick Duffy who is still alive and well at 103. his Labour successor (via Richard Wainwright) David Clark (Grayson's biographer) is still with us too. Sadly the next Labour MP for the constituency, Kali Mountford, has been seriously ill for some years, and I will not be surprised to hear of her passing. I obviously hope not as I have seen her on social media & she seems rather nice. Who knows, maybe Victor Grayson may turn up this year........ |

Well Kali just posted an update in the CLP group chat about her letter writing campaign to David Cameron, Baroness Scotland, and David Lammy, on behalf of LGBT refugees fleeing Uganda. She notes she has also been funding and raising money to help them to endure the brutal refugee camps as well as arranging IDs and work documentation. So maybe don’t count her out just yet… |
