FTFY. Excellent candidate Tbf the candidate probably wasn't much of a factor in a lot of those sorts of seats at the last GE. Indeed. I knocked up in Blyth Valley on election day, including in Susan Dungworth's own ward. A typical comment was to the effect that she was liked and respected, but electors weren't going to vote for her. I think if Ronnie Campbell had stood again, he may have polled even worse.

Wasn't Campbell known as effectively 'nice guy, but thick as two short planks'.

Susan Dungworth also lost her council ward (by 1 vote) in 2021 locals. Ronnie Campbell's wife was another casuality that night.

Susan Dungworth also lost her council ward (by 1 vote) in 2021 locals. Ronnie Campbell's wife was another casuality that night. For the parish ward, she topped the poll while the other 2 seats went Conservative.

Although this was in fact a tied result deciding by drawing straws won by the Conservative candidate (it is recorded as a 1 vote victory for the Conservatives as the returning officers deciding vote is recorded in most listings).

Might Northumbria still be deleted? Need to know because I'm getting a train to Morpeth next week.

it is slightly alarming isn't it. Still, it would greatly reduce journey times to Edinburgh were it to happen.
