Croatia is going to the polls today to elect its MEPs to serve until the full election next year. BBC News article here: www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-22142868Some background including polling in Wikipedia here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Parliament_election,_2013_(Croatia) The coalition leading in the polls is confusingly made up of the Social Democratic Party, who are aligned with the Party of European Socialists; Croatian People's Party – Liberal Democrats, aligned with Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe; and the Croatian Party of Pensioners, who have no European alignment, but who appear to lean a bit right of their nominal centrism, given their past backing of HDZ. It'll be interesting to see how they align the seats they win. Anyone got any more information? I shall have a dig around to see if I can find anything

Low turnout (at 16:00 it was 15%)
First results indicate 32.something% for opposition coalition (6 seats), 31.something% for ruling coalition (5 seats). Final seat goes to Labour Party (6%)
