Looks like turnout is going to be way, way down. To around 85% Is the "third party" vote as small as ever? Apparently they may be on for a record vote, up to around 3%.

The over-the-topness of Maltese count is still intact

14 point, 41,500 vote margin predicted. Biggest landslide ever.

Just noticed there's a party called ABBA standing - Is their slogan "take a chance on us" or "Money! Money! Money!"? A third party? In Malta? That isn't even AD/PD? I'm pretty sure it's "Waterloo". Meanwhile The tweeter is a PN official, but PN leader Grech had claimed some time ago that Malta's international reputation was so bad that he usually claims to be Greek. Which is also literally his surname, of course. Hence Labur's Greek flags.

They're Tweedledum to Labour's Tweedledee. Who started Malta on the tax haven path in earnest? PN. Whose idea was joining the EU? PN. And now that they're not even arch social conservatives anymore, what kind of opposition are they? AD refers to the duopoly as PLPN for a reason.

This is some info on ABBA from Wiki: ABBA Ivan Grech Mintoff, who previously served as the chairman of Alliance of Change, formed the religious-right ABBA in 2021.[93][94] In early March, the party presented several candidates that were members of the River of Love religious group.[95] Some candidates were reported to be orientated towards the far-right.[94][96] ABBA supports investigating into pro-choice activists who allegedly broke abortion laws.[97]

AD refers to the duopoly as PLPN for a reason. Regardless, no party should really be losing in landslides three elections in a row. And that is especially the case when the government has basically been accused of murdering a journalist! Projections now seem to be a Labour win of around 42,000 votes. They are expected to win fairly comfortably in the 13th district (Gozo), and may also have flipped the 12th (based on St Paul’s Bay and Mellieha).

ADPD have announced their intention to challenge the electoral system in court Why? Because of how the top-up seats work?

ADPD have announced their intention to challenge the electoral system in court Why? Because of how the top-up seats work? Apparently it's because they think the system penalises smaller parties - I'm not sure what the detailed reasoning is

Does look like they have over 1/65th of the vote. If PN get extra seats for proportionality I don't see why they shouldn't.
