A fairly good bet that the next GE is *after* mid-2023, then?

Excellent! Less than a year. Finally, the much needed changes finally feel within reach. It felt like it would never come.

Wales: 17 Oct, closes 14 Nov
England: 8 Nov, closes 5 Dec
Scotland: 8 Nov, closes 5 Dec N Ireland: 14 Nov, closes (I presume) 11 Dec

I mean, if you've got through to spring 2023 you might as well hold on until the changes come into effect just a few months later.

Those 6 days before Wales will fly by. Yes, especially since some political entertainment has been thoughtfully arranged to fill the interval.
Like having a brass band during half-time at the Cup Final.
(Does that still happen, incidentally? I don't watch much soccer these days.)

This is wrong for Wales as well, they're being published on the 19th. Not wrong! Sorry, I'm totally confused - the statement you've quoted says they will be published on the 19th of October, which is what I've also said. Harry has said they'll be published on the 17th.

I was told by the Welsh Boundary Commissioners ages ago via a tweet the 17th. I set an Alexa reminder and calendar reminder as soon as they tweeted the date. They clearly must have changed it without a tweet.

Do we know when the revised plans are being published tomorrow - it is just past midnight tonight (I've a vague recollection of them coming out in the middle of the night for the provisional recs).
