This is the list as at August 2022. Scotland is the biggest black hole, as none of our Scottish regulars are interested. I will update if and when new profiles appear Since ntyuk1707 has picked up West Aberdeenshire as part of his revisiting Scottish profiles, that is, finally, the lot, unless someone has a tantrum and deletes their contributions.

I'll so Kirkcaldy & Cowdenbeath. I don't know the seat too well but I've always had a keen interest in it

This deserves to be bumped.
41 seats without a profile .... and there are so many interesting constituencies in Scotland.

Since john07 is tackling some seats, I'd better make this pointless post to restore the list to the top

As Robert is chewing his way through Scotland, I am restoring this thread to the top, in the vain hope that some of our Scottish posters might have a go.

I would like to have a go at profiles but the truth is I don’t have enough knowledge about demographics and where to find that sort of data, so it would largely turn into political history with the odd local point where I know it so not very good in other words!

There is a very useful site out there with 2011 census data for all the UK's 650 constituencies.
I used it for my own profiles, but have deleted the link now.

These will be useful.
I've done the Aberdeen seats - my only one remaining local seat is Gordon so I'll maybe give that a go in the net week or so

Ideally you want ward data unless you know the area very well. For England I use Nomis, which is pretty straightforward. But I’ve never tried to delve into Scottish census data. ( Robert Waller knows all the data in my profiles is England & Wales, and personally I think that Scottish data should be presented separately).Wikipedia is also useful for economic activity and economic history. The boundary commission for Scotland will give you electorates for existing wards, as well as proposals for new seats.

Does anyone know when the full results will be published for the latest census?

All help gratefully received! I perhaps should let folk know that as far as Scotland is concerned I myself intend to chew my way through the rest of Renfrewshire and then look at Dunbartonshire. These will be interspersed with visits elsewhere such as my recent attempt at Crewe & Nantwich.

It would be really helpful, now there are only four Scottish seats left without a profile of all the 650 in the UK, if we could definitively clarify: - whether Clark is still intending to do a profile of Gordon as he suggested above on 5 October 2022? - whether carlton43 is still intending to do a profile of Ross, Skye & Lochaber as he suggested in the thread with that title on 20 May 2020? - whether someone really did do profiles of West Aberdeenshire & Kincardine, and Banff & Buchan, as the existence of those threads suggests - I believe The Bishop thinks uthacalthing did - and whether these are to be restored or re-done by the original author? Now if the answers to any of the above are 'no', I am prepared to have a go (if no one else is). However I really do believe that all those mentioned above are much better qualified than myself because of their extensive local connections and knowledge, so I would prefer it if they could be so kind as to help. If not, then I'm afraid it might have to be me, simply for the sake of completeness!

The Bishop is correct in his statement regarding WANK and B&B. I am however not sure if uthacalthing is intending to put those profiles back up.
