Surely with the Lib Dems underwhelming performance in a difficult by election for the Conservatives and their trouncing in the GE last year, we are in with a shout of finally taking B&R?

Your best bet is still Kirsty Williams retiring. But yes, will certainly be interesting.

If Kirsty goes then you have a chance, but do not underestimate her name recognition and popularity.
You also need a good candidate, not the debacle of a candidate you had last time.

I think baring disasters this is Kirsty's as long as she wants it.

If we lost here, I wouldn't be surprised if we also did so poorly as to be ineligible for any lists seats. Given that this would mean a net loss in the Assembly, this would probably trigger Jane Dodds' resignation as leader of the Welsh party, but who would take over if not Kirsty Williams?

He's currently chair of the Asgardian Parliament, and there'll be no access from here to the bifrost until they've seen off Helheim's coronavirus.

The matter of Ms Williams being a minister (the minister for rural school closures, no less!) in a Labour administration will play interestingly. She may now be a liability for the Lib Dems in a rural constituency. She seems to be following her political bedfellow Mr Opik's approach to alienating rural Wales.

Well, if you have no AMs, you'll need to choose a county councillor. Let's start looking at the candidates in the top left corner: Anglesey County Council, where the Liberal Democrat taxi is occupied by Cllr Aled Jones. I know nothing about him, other than that he's the second most interesting Aled Jones after the guy off the Snowman and Songs of Praise.

It was Peter Auty who sang on the film of The Snowman. Aled Jones had a hit with it later. He now sings as a tenor, but his mature voice isn't a patch on his treble voice and he sings with amplification - unlike Peter Auty, who I have also heard sing as an adult tenor.

When canvassing in the by-election, Kirsty Williamsโ popularity was extremely noticeable. Her level of personal support was far beyond anything Iโve seen for any other politician on any level.

Kirsty is by no means alienating rural Wales. I know the Conservatives are desperate for this scalp and I don't blame them for trying, but this assumption and attack line is pretty desperate. Also your casual reminder that the Conservatives are the junior partners in the coalition running Powys and hold non other than the education portfolio.

I don't recall that advert. Was it only shown in Scotland? It's very good.
