I hadn't noticed I'd put and instead of or
As Sheffield fc and Hallam fc are the two oldest football clubs in the world, I'd say that Wednesday and United are fighting over who is 3rd most important in the city.

I did once come across another football club with a day of the week in their name, but I can't remember off the top of my head who it was. Does any mother know? (not a very high level I don't think).

Well, Sheffield is the home of football, can't argue with that! I went to a fundraiser in Dronfield and one of the acts asked where people had cone from and a couple shouted Sheffield to which ensued this conversation: Comedian: how did you get here Audience member: walked Comedian: how long did that take you? Audience member: 5 minutes Comedian: its 5 minutes to Sheffield on foot! |
