If the General Election results are anything to go by this should be a more comfortable Conservative hold than 2016.

The state of play in May will obviously have an impact, but the Tories did win this area at the GE as noted above. The Tory vote held up in Redbridge at the GE (40% in Ilford North) and was up in the Havering seats. The Tories also won this in 2016, even though the UKIP candidate scored 15.7% I can't see the Brexit Party matching that, these voters in Havering will probably break for the Tories.

Obviously the more Conservative part of that seat?

Keith Prince (Conservative) is restanding: Given that this photo was obvious take just after a selection meeting, the small and not very diverse attendance, of members across two boroughs, shows just how badly the Conservatives are doing in terms of grassroots members. The Labour membership across the two boroughs will run into the many thousands.

Obviously the more Conservative part of that seat? As I said it is based on notional ward results so it includes those wards as well as the Redbridge wards which are in Chingford & Woodford Green and Leyton & Wanstead (also the more Conservative parts of those seats)

The Labour membership across the two boroughs will run into the many thousands. It wasn't a full blown selection meeting open to the whole membership, it was an electoral college made up of representatives from each association. The decision was to either readopt Keith or open it to a full selection (at which stage the wider membership would have been involved). Incidentally the meeting took place the same night Theresa May's original Withdrawal Agreement was announced, and at the time I did wonder if this would be the last Tory party meeting I ever attended.
