Thus, in Bridlington north, 4 of the 8 candidates got a smaller percentage of the votes than any of us predicted; 2 of the candidates got a greater percentage than any of us predicted; and only 2 of the candidates were within the range which we predicted. The maximum which we all predicted for each candidate added up to 177%, and the minimum we all predicted for each candidate added up to 53 %.
I don't know how these sorts of ranges compare with our predictions for other by-elections, because I haven't checked.

I heard a rumour about Bridlington North, so my prediction could either be a stroke of genius or a complete disaster... Bridlington North: LDM 30, CON 22, YSP 14, IND (Dix) 9, IND (Mil) 9, LAB 7, UKIP 5, IND (Rob) 4. Whitecross: IOC 56, CON 24, LDM 20. You're welcome. |

No verdicts yet from middleenglander?And unusually nobody else has attempted to go on record with any interim results either? I wonder why?Don't envy ME his task with this one, but I guess not many people beat Olympian in Bridlington!

Apologies for the late posting but after an eventful holiday, the weekend has been somewhat dramatic although now approaching an even keel.
13 entrants this week with ElectionMapsUK making an interesting re-appearance but Olympian95 having another senior forgetful moment. Right Leaning gets 2 x 10 additional faults for not posting until nearly 11 am whilst greenrobinhood and John Loony each get 2 addition faults for adding to 98% and 102% respectively in Bridlington North.
East Riding of Yorkshire, Bridlington North: 10 Conservative hold, David Boothroyd Independent Dixon gain, ElectionMapsUK Liberal Democrat gain, Toylyyev Yorkshire Party gain
Herefordshire, Whitecross: 100% Its Our County hold, majority from 3% (John Loony over Liberal Democrat) to 44% (David Boothroyd over Conservative)
