I think polaris maybe using the "Grayling scale" of measurement.

I'm obviously not a fan of May, but was quite impressed by the way she took on the Police Federation.

She doesn't have the skill set or personality to lead a party or be PM, but anyone would struggle in the current circumstances. There is no leadership without followers, and fundamentally, the Tory Party doesn't want to be led. It is divided from top to bottom. A substantial contingent of its membership and parliamentary party have been radicalised by Brexit and are unable to think or act rationally.

If I were her, I would walk away as soon as possible, while I still had my sanity.
