This is taking place today. Voting is by constituency. Each constituency is contested by just one candidate. Voters have the option to cross out the candidate's name or else deposit the ballot paper. Last time the turnout was 99.97% and a 100% vote for the candidates. There are three parties. The Workers Party, headed by Kim Jong-un, the Social Democratic Party, headed by Kim Yong-dae, and the Chondoist Chongu Party, whose leadership is currently vacant but it was founded by Kim Tarhyon. All three stand in the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea alliance. Prediction: A thumping majority for the Workers Party, with poll ratings that our leaders can only dream of. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-47492747

Doesn't make for very exciting 'winning here' bar charts. And 'one horse race' is not the most exciting slogan either 😆

As far as I know, the only election "results" which have ever been published by the DPRK have merely stated the national turnout (as a percentage, to two decimal places), the share of the vote for the Democratic Front (as a percentage, to two decimal places) and a list of the names of the MPs elected for each constituency (687 seats, by FPTP). I've never seen any results which purport to be the number of votes, or for individual constituencies.
Needless to say, voting is heavily guided/forced and the results are in any case obviously fictitious.

Genuinely agog to see if KJU can improve on the 100% of the vote - with a 100% turnout - that he "achieved" last time

Reports suggest there may not be any postal votes and the turnout isn't quite 100% due to those abroad or at sea.

A place where not getting 100% of the vote is cause for a recount.
