Ajit Atwal has apologised for being naive for posing for the photo according to the BBC. The Labour leader of council has said he should resign. I csn't tell anything from the only two paragraphs of the Sun story I can read. As mentioned the story is in fact 7 months old and has been superceded in the local press by the story of him chasing and apprehending a local burglar . I'm confused! The links provide me with three examples of councillors (from 3 different parties) posing with weapons but without any real explanation of why ....... What's all the fuss about politicians posing with weapons, anyway?
