I do think Approval is the real figure, at that level it is almost impossible to retrive it
What was ours say in 2008/9 ?

nah no chance when that many disapprove on your own side ...
if they start to regular ones of -40 thats it game over for certain
will be interesting if the Leveson issue has any impact on leadership ratings the next few days

Strange that approval goes down whenever the Labour lead is cut, and vice versa. I doubt the Leveson issue will have any impact at all. To the average man on the street it matters not a jot.

Again we see the labour increase lead but approval slightly increase, counter intuitive to what you should expect. Lead now at 12

Both the approval and the Labour lead have been in the same range for a long time now, it's just that YouGov's figures seem to often bounce back and forth from one end of the range to the other. If that's mostly noise, the fact that approval and Labour lead are going in opposite directions doesn't necessarily signify.
That said, the bounciness of the figures doesn't engender confidence in their accuracy.

They are a soft as sh*t and always have been.

(and to confirm last night, that I will no longer post in the General forum, not the others where more sensible debate happens, blocked others I do not wish to communicate with)
