Why is Kerry always so slow? Huge rural county many many many tiny hamlets of 2-10 residents (that use to be full villages) connected by tiny winding roads. The main town is smaller in population than many UK villages.

Why is Kerry always so slow? Rural counties which have 5 seats will naturally take longer to count, and in Kerry's case there will be a lot of transfers to count from Michael Healy-Rae...

Why is Kerry always so slow? That could be the start of a joke between Cork folk.

FG gained a seat off the Greens in Dún Laoghaire to take a second with FF holding and PBP taking the last seat.

Cap of Powah is in, and with his surplus will probably put his brother over the top within a count or two.

Gosh carlton43... I'm sure Carlton won't mind me saying that he holds on to opinions and rarely dusts them down to re-evaluate.

I'm sure Carlton won't mind me saying that he holds on to opinions and rarely dusts them down to re-evaluate. That's totally unfair. Recently he has shown the willingness to change his opinions 180 degrees within days - sometimes hours. It shows a welcome openness of mind. He even deletes his previous opinion so that we don't get confused. Bless 'im.

What are the key issues that the Labour Party and the Social Democrats disagree on? They are both ‘progressive’ parties of the centre left are they not?

I’m not sure that I can spot any significant impact from the reported concerns about migrants?

I’m not sure that I can spot any significant impact from the reported concerns about migrants? Maybe Dublin Central.

I’m not sure that I can spot any significant impact from the reported concerns about migrants? Maybe Dublin Central. Is Hutch particularly identified with that cause?
