In "The Nazi War against the Jews" Lucy Dawidowicz indicates that the party of choice for Jews in Weimar was the DDP. After their collapse the Jews moved almost wholesale to the Socialists. In Berlin, there was a concentration of poor Jews in the Friedrichstrasse neighbourhood, close to the Choral Synagogue on Oranienburgerstrasse. They would have tended to the Socialists. The Jews of Charlottenburg would have been overwhelmingly DDP.
