I'm wondering whether there is in fact a slight error there. Not that it would matter that much. They were similar but its Woolaton West 2003 Con 2630/2563/2433. Lab 1197/1178/1087. LD 688/678/676 2007 Con 2670/2408/2305. Lab 1169/1097/1013. LD 805/744/667. Green 498. UKIP 483. CME 115 sorry for the error, will correct. Thanks to everyone for pointing out these mistakes - I quite like knowing that somebody out there is reading them carefully, though I don't put them in on purpose, honest. May be explained by the fact my poor wife is now back home with me after a period of respite and that reduces my ability to concentrate.

Well spotted. The Green vote is very low in retrospect although I didn't really think about it the first time I saw it.

Well, when the council's official presentation is as appalling as that it's not very surprising that errors crop up. I'll fix this when I get home tonight.

Well, when the council's official presentation is as appalling as that it's not very surprising that errors crop up. I'll fix this when I get home tonight. You inspired me to go and see how bad it is, and that is a really appalling presentation. Sticking to pdfs of the results (arranged so you need extra clicks to see each one) would be preferable to that mess.

Some councils leave photocopies of handwritten results on their website for quite a long time after an election is held. Often it's difficult to read the results because the writing is so bad.

Not with a great success rate, I think.

Some councils leave photocopies of handwritten results on their website for quite a long time after an election is held. Often it's difficult to read the results because the writing is so bad. They must be asking doctors to do it. A doctor once acted as my proposer on a (parliamentary) nomination paper. I took it in. The Deputy Deputy Returning Officer looked at the signature. Looked at the Polling Number. Looked at the name in the Electoral Register. "This looks nothing like Roberts" he said. "Can't accept it." "He's a Doctor" I said. "Oh, fair enough."
