Your probably right. But when I was working there there seemed to be getting quite nice.
Let me rephrase that. It was nice before, just seems the demographics seem to be moving a bit.
It's quite a diverse seat, really depends which part you're referring to.
I suspect that the Conservatives were ahead in Bothwell, Uddingston and the Clydesdale-side of the constituency, with Labour polling first in Carluke and Larkhall and the SNP topping the poll in east Hamilton.
There is quite a lot of deprivation in all major towns in the constituency other than around the suburbs of Bothwell and Uddingston really, and rural bits of Clydesdale.
