CHANGE IN NORTH EAST LONDON
They propose a one ward shuffle of the BCE's plan. Redbridge's Bridge ward goes from Ilford North to Chingford and Woodford Green; Waltham Forest's Chapel End ward goes from Chingford and Woodford Green to Walthamstow; Waltham Forest's Cann Hall ward goes from Walthamstow to Leytonstone and Wanstead; and Redbridge's Valentines ward goes from Leytonstone and Wanstead to Ilford North.
The effect is to make Chingford and Woodford Green safer for the Conservatives (lead goes up from 12.5% to 18.6%) while Ilford North becomes better for Labour (15.7% lead instead of 10.6%).
Chingford and Woodford Green BC 71,105 (Redbridge: Bridge, Church End, Monkhams; Waltham Forest: Chingford Green, Endlebury, Hale End and Highams Park, Hatch Lane, Larkswood, Valley)
Ilford North BC 78,137 (Redbridge: Aldborough, Chadwell, Fairlop, Fullwell, Hainault, Newbury, Roding, Seven Kings, Valentines)
Leytonstone and Wanstead BC 72,863 (Redbridge: Barkingside, Clayhall, Cranbrook, Snaresbrook, Wanstead; Waltham Forest: Cann Hall, Forest, Leytonstone, Wood Street)
Walthamstow BC 77,655 (Waltham Forest: Cathall, Chapel End, Grove Green, High Street, Higham Hill, Hoe Street, Lea Bridge, Leyton, Markhouse, William Morris)
CHANGE IN EAST LONDON
Again a one ward shuffle involving Newham wards. Canning Town South ward moves from Bow and Canning Town to East Ham; East Ham North moves from East Ham to Forest Gate and Loxford, and Plaistow North moves from Forest Gate and Loxford to Bow and Canning Town. Then the names are changed to Bow and Stratford, and to Forest Gate and Ilford Town. No great electoral significance as these would all be safe Labour seats.
Bow and Stratford BC 77,504 (Newham: Canning Town North, Plaistow North, Stratford and New Town, West Ham; Tower Hamlets: Bow East, Bow West, Bromley North, Bromley South, Lansbury)
East Ham BC 71,548 (Newham: Beckton, Boleyn, Canning Town South, Custom House, East Ham Central, East Ham South, Plaistow South, Royal Docks, Wall End)
Forest Gate and Ilford Town 77,964 (Newham: East Ham North, Forest Gate North, Forest Gate South, Green Street East, Green Street West, Little Ilford, Manor Park; Redbridge: Clementswood, Loxford)
CHANGE IN NORTH LONDON
A comprehensive counterproposal involving six seats Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. Would make Chipping Barnet and Mill Hill slightly less safe (C lead 18.8% not 22.5%), and boosts the Labour lead in Enfield (renamed Enfield North) narrowly from 3.6% to 6.9%. But recreates a Conservative held Enfield Southgate (C lead 11.3%). Packs the Labour voting bits of Finchley into a cross-border Finchley and Muswell Hill seat which is basically safe (Labour lead 24% over Conservatives, 25% over Liberal Democrat). Creates a a safe Labour Hornsey and Wood Green (47% lead over Liberal Democrat).
Chipping Barnet and Mill Hill BC 73,871 (Barnet: Brunswick Park, East Barnet, High Barnet, Mill Hill, Oakleigh, Totteridge, Underhill)
Edmonton and Tottenham Hale BC 74,623 (Enfield: Edmonton Green, Haselbury, Jubilee, Lower Edmonton, Upper Edmonton; Haringey: Bruce Grove, Northumberland Park, Tottenham Hale, White Hart Lane)
Enfield North BC 74,422 (Enfield: Chase, Enfield Highway, Enfield Lock, Highlands, Ponders End, Southbury, Town, Turkey Street)
Enfield Southgate BC 72,787 (Enfield: Bowes, Bush Hill Park, Cockfosters, Grange, Palmers Green, Southgate, Southgate Green, Winchmore Hill)
Finchley and Muswell Hill BC 76,536 (Barnet: Coppetts, East Finchley, West Finchley, Woodhouse; Haringey: Alexandra, Crouch End, Fortis Green, Highgate, Muswell Hill)
Hornsey and Wood Green BC 74,080 (Haringey: Bounds Green, Harringay, Hornsey, Noel Park, St. Ann's, Seven Sisters, Stroud Green, Tottenham Green, West Green, Woodside)
CHANGE IN WEST LONDON
Comprehensive change in Brent, Ealing, Harrow and Hillingdon, probably aimed at preserving an Uxbridge and Ruislip seat. Puts the four Shepherds Bush wards in with south Brent creating safe Labour (41% lead) Willesden and Hammersmith North; Wembley and Neasden will be nearly as safe (35% Labour lead). That makes a Kenton seat more winnable than the BCE's (Labour lead down from 9% to 4.5%). Harrow and Stanmore is very slightly better for the Conservatives (lead 16.2% not 14.9%), allowing a Northwood and West Harrow seat with an 18% Conservative lead. The new Uxbridge and Ruislip would be very safe (31% Conservative lead). Knock-on changes in Ealing make Ealing North safer for Labour, while Ealing Central and Acton is also recreated as a marginal (Labour lead 4.4%).
Ealing Central and Acton BC 71,456 (Ealing: Acton Central, Cleveland, Ealing Broadway, Ealing Common, East Acton, Hanger Hill, Perivale, South Acton)
Ealing North BC 74,240 (Ealing: Dormers Wells, Greenford Broadway, Greenford Green, Hobbayne, Lady Margaret, North Greenford, Northolt Mandeville, Northolt West End)
Harrow and Stanmore BC 77,875 (Harrow: Belmont, Canons, Edgware, Harrow Weald, Hatch End, Headstone North, Headstone South, Marlborough, Stanmore Park, Wealdstone)
Kenton BC 73,878 (Brent: Kenton, Northwick Park, Preston, Queensbury; Harrow: Greenhill, Harrow on the Hill, Kenton East, Kenton West, Queensbury)
Northwood and West Harrow BC 77,011 (Harrow: Pinner, Pinner South, Rayners Lane, Roxbourne
Roxeth, West Harrow; Hillingdon: Eastcote and East Ruislip, Harefield, Northwood, Northwood Hills)
Uxbridge and Ruislip BC 74,486 (Hillingdon: Brunel, Cavendish, Hillingdon East, Ickenham, Manor, South Ruislip, Uxbridge North, Uxbridge South, West Ruislip)
Wembley and Neasden BC 78,065 (Brent: Alperton, Barnhill, Dollis Hill, Dudden Hill, Fryent, Sudbury, Tokyngton, Welsh Harp, Wembley Central)
Willesden and Hammersmith North BC 77,035 (Brent: Brondesbury Park, Harlesden, Kensal Green, Mapesbury, Stonebridge, Willesden Green; Hammersmith and Fulham: Askew, College Park and Old Oak, Shepherd's Bush Green, Wormholt and White City)
CHANGE IN SOUTH-WEST LONDON
Another one ward switch: Merton's Colliers Wood ward comes out of Merton and Wimbledon Central to go into Tooting; Wandsworth's Earlsfield ward then moves to Wimbledon Common and Putney, and Merton's Village ward moves to Merton and Wimbledon Central. The Wimbledon Common and Putney name is changed to Putney and Wimbledon Park. Village ward is one of the safest Conservative wards in the country and this minor change turns an ultra-marginal (0.4% Conservative majority) into a seat with a comfortable majority of nearly 10%.
Merton and Wimbledon Central BC 76,222 (Merton: Abbey, Cannon Hill, Cricket Green, Dundonald, Hillside, Lavender Fields, Merton Park, Ravensbury, Raynes Park, Trinity, Village, West Barnes)
Putney and Wimbledon Park BC 77,676 (Merton: Wimbledon Park; Wandsworth: Earlsfield, East Putney, Roehampton and Putney Heath, Southfields, Thamesfield, West Hill, West Putney)
Tooting BC 72,979 (Merton: Colliers Wood, Graveney; Wandsworth: Bedford, Furzedown, Graveney, Nightingale, Tooting, Wandsworth Common)
CHANGE IN SUTTON
Belmont ward is put back in Sutton and Cheam, while Merton's St Helier ward moves from Sutton and Cheam to Carshalton and Wallington. I think this actually flips Carshalton and Wallington away from the Conservatives and narrowly into the Liberal Democrat column (majority 0.7%).
Carshalton and Wallington BC 75,246 (Merton: St. Helier; Sutton: Beddington North
Beddington South, Carshalton Central, Carshalton South and Clockhouse, St. Helier, The Wrythe, Wallington North, Wallington South, Wandle Valley)
Sutton and Cheam BC 74,191 (Merton: Lower Morden; Sutton: Belmont, Cheam, Nonsuch, Stonecot, Sutton Central, Sutton North, Sutton South, Sutton West, Worcester Park)
CHANGE IN LEWISHAM
A two ward shuffle. Blackheath and Lee Green wards are moved from Greenwich and Deptford to Lewisham and Catford, while Ladywell and Lewisham Central wards move the other way. Lewisham and Catford is then renamed Lewisham East. Doesn't make a significant change to voting patterns.
Greenwich and Deptford BC 78,401 (Greenwich: Blackheath Westcombe, Greenwich West, Peninsula; Lewisham: Brockley, Evelyn, Ladywell, Lewisham Central, New Cross)
Lewisham East BC 71,385 (Lewisham: Bellingham, Blackheath, Catford South, Downham, Grove Park, Lee Green, Rushey Green, Whitefoot
CHANGE IN BEXLEY
The Conservatives are proposing a split ward - Lesnes Abbey. Polling district LA1E (2,086 electors) would remain in Woolwich constituency but the remainder (5,639 electors) would move to Erith and Crayford, along with St. Michael's ward. Belvedere and Thamesmead East wards would then move from Erith and Crayford to Woolwich. LA1E is the square of land between the Abbey Wood railway line, Maran Way, Yarnton Way and the borough boundary, and is one of the most Labour bits of Lesnes Abbey ward, and the effect of this change would be to make Erith and Crayford a much better Conservative seat (15-16% lead).

Woolwich BC 75,499 (Bexley: Belvedere, Lesnes Abbey polling district LA1E, Thamesmead East; Greenwich: Abbey Wood, Charlton, Glyndon, Plumstead, Thamesmead Moorings, Woolwich Riverside)
