Interesting challenge for Yorkshire First this week in Pontefract. Gut feel is that it'll be tougher than Dearne North last month, where we managed 10% and ran UKIP close for second. Kippers have thrown a lot at this, even wheeling out one of their MEPs (Jane Collins) last weekend.

We've covered the ward the best we can. A lot of voters will have had a letter, and we followed that up with a leaflet. Man power meant we couldn't hit every house with the leaflet, but we've put in a fair bit of effort.
