In 2012, the Conservative Party suspended Shelagh Pile (Harmans Water) and Michael Sergeant (Bullbrook), after they refused to support a party vote in favour of the Council’s controversial housing plans. They sat as Independents.
On 26 September 2013, it was reported that Independent councillors Shelagh Pile (Harmans Water) and Michael Sergeant (Bullbrook) had joined UKIP.
28 November 2013 – Winkfield and Cranbourne – Con hold Susan Phillips (Con) elected Caused by the death of Mary Ballin (Con), aged 72, who had been ill for some time and died peacefully at Wexham Park Hospital
On 18 November 2014, it was reported that Alan Kendall (Con) (Winkfield and Cranbourne) had passed away, after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer, creating an unfilled vacancy
On 28 January 2015, it was reported that Will Davison (Hanworth) had defected from Con to UKIP, having become increasingly disenchanted with the actions of the Conservatives both locally and in the Coalition Government.

Conservative gain over Labour in Priestwood & Garth (2 Con, 1 Lab -> 3 Con).
