But the Tory candidate did apparently have to ask for directions to the ward, so at least you're providing some entertainment there.
Jason is indeed a mature student. He'll be graduating at the end of the year, so there'd be no concern about having him on the council - or indeed any of the other three student candidates we're standing.
Last time LD 44%, Conservative 27%, SNP, 14%, Labour 11%. Since when, as we know, the LDs have gone backwards and the SNP forwards.
The two sitting LD councilors have a high profile and deserve to be re-elected. The SNP are over reaching going for two. The Labour party have a good candidate who lives locally in a posh part of town, which you would do if you were the wife of a Labour MSP. The Conservative candidate, Ross Thomson, is the second best Conservative candidate in the city after Fraser. The former Conservative candidate, Jim Farquharson, who was expelled from the party, is standing as an Independent.
I note this lacks a prediction. Is this due to not being able to decide what you think the outcome will be, or are you worried about Farquharson but don't want to suggest it might be touch and go?
Given that I'm going to do my level best not to make any serious predictions here, that's a cheeky question for me to ask but I thought I'd do it anyway.
