Maiden Erlegh and Whitegates 2x LD 1x Con with Con topping the poll.
Just a tad over 200 votes between 1st place and 8th, both of whom were Tories. Maiden Erlegh being Maiden Erlegh.

Unfortunately I think it's Phil Creighton who's missing a ward, not me. So it all comes down to Barkham and Arborfield. edit: yup, definitely just the one ward left now.

So 9 votes decide it in last declaration and we go to Mayor's casting vote.
9 split wards!

Hawkedon 2x Lib Dem 1x Con The expected result, but I wasn't expecting the 2nd and 3rd Lib Dem to draw lots for the last seat! Given the system, I'm surprised that doesn't happen more often among party colleagues at all-outs, to be honest.

That resembles the Milton Keynes elections after boundary changes where our new wards split every which way back in 2014. You won't be pleased to hear that several of them have only unsplit today, 10 years on....
