If Labour's vote had not been smashed up in South Yorkshire then they would have got the final seat, not the Tories. They were closer to it than the Tories as the results were anyway. Surprised the Tories thought they were going to get 2.

"To be honest the Greens never looked like getting that last seat. They were too low in too many areas. Nobody in room thought the Greens were going to get it. The Greens and UKIP thought it was 2-2-2 and had Labour's vote not been smashed up in South Yorkshire it would have been.....There was about 10,000 votes in it."
