They will or they won't? I suppose 55% or 60% might be "most". But it's not much of a most!
It is certainly quite likely that only a minority of people qualified to vote will do so.

What do people think will be the turnout at the election? As it is to be close, and there appear to be quite a range of parties gaining publicity and being seen as 'serious', I think it will be up on 2010.
Also, could we see a big difference between Scotland and everywhere else?

But most people did not vote in the European Elections. And a significant number of those who did may have voted for a party they do not intend to vote for at a general election.

Here's the latest TNS. Somewhat out of line with other polling organisations; perhaps it fell through a wormhole from late last year.
LAB 33% (+2) CON 27% (-4) UKIP 18% (+2) GREEN 8% (+1) LIB DEM 6% (-2) OTHER 8% (+1)

Average this one and the latest ICM, and you're probably not far off.

erm, new one out with new methodology - not weighting by Euro elections or something... probably bad for UKIP then?

Smithson pointing out some of the fieldwork is very old - it was taken from 18 March - 8 April. I might also question the wording of the voting intention question: "The next General Election for the Westminster Parliament will be held in May 2015. Which party do you intend to vote for in that election?". "Westminster" is a bit of a pejorative word in Scottish politics right now. Would there have been a different result if the question had referred to "the United Kingdom Parliament"? www.tns-bmrb.co.uk/news/snp-increases-its-lead-in-latest-tns-poll

More importantly, why are TNS using the GPEW logo for a poll in Scotland
