Are the full tables available anywhere? With an overall sample size like that, then for once the regional crossbreaks might be worth looking at. Bear in mind that they still won't be weighted.

So if we discount won't vote and won't say: Con 32 Lab 30 LD 16 BRX 13 SNP 3 Oth 6

Is there a more depressing sight in politics than the New European analysing a ComRes poll?

Is there a more depressing sight in politics than the New European analysing a ComRes poll? Guido Fawkes analysing any poll would probably be worse.

Is there a more depressing sight in politics than the New European analysing a ComRes poll? It seems to be Anthony Wells analysing it actually - they are just copying him. Do you disagree with Wells?

Yes. I think they are generally dreadful and I'm not the only one. ComedyResults were never highly regarded, but their recent transformation into a ‘rent a poll’ outfit has been particularly embarrassing (but the not so subtle shade from more credible pollsters has been entertaining at least).

The other pollsters are more credible than ComRes in the same way that the common cold is more pleasant than a stroke.

Yes, political polling in this country is generally not great (even if less bad than the US)

Are they not all "rent-a-poll" outfits? It is probably their turn to be accidentally correct next time.. Not sure why people are singling them out..

I think it’s fair to say that amongst those who care about polls and understand them, ComRes are viewed with some suspicion......on the face of it their methods aren’t significantly different though from other companies. As I commented a couple of days ago some companies are more prepared to “compromise” with commissioners than others, and there is some evidence to suggest that ComRes are one of these. So watch for who commissions a survey, and look carefully at the questions.

Is there a more depressing sight in politics than the New European analysing a ComRes poll? And since it doesn't yet seem to have been mentioned, wasn't there a "quickie" ComRes poll last night?

Britain Elects commissioned Comres to do a leave with a deal VI and don't leave VI. The former was a 11 point tory lead the latter a small Labour lead
